The difference is that in J, you deal lots of damage, and in Alpha 2 you deal fucking nothing for damage most of the time. At least the Baronz isn't some 2L Guard 20% DR Leader Bonus monstrosity... it's just got Guard, the leader bonus, a barrier, and the fact that to hit the fucking thing in the first place you absolutely need Strike while it slaps you with a 1-5 P free ALL for quite a bit of damage.

I think what bothers me and most people about Blade II is not so much what happens in it and more about what it does to the original show.

At the end of Tekkaman Blade, D-boy is a crippled, emotionally broken amnesiac with only a few months to live, but that's what it took for him to accomplish his mission. It was an enormously powerful and emotional way to end the series. And then Blade II comes along and stomps all over that by retconning Blade into being able to recover in order for him to fight the Radam, who turned out to not all be dead. This naturally begs the question as to what was even the point of the original show if it was all going to be undone later anyway? Killing off Noal was just the dingleberry on the shit sundae

Probably some combination of most of the old cast moving on to other things, the new main being annoyingly bubbly, and the setting being generally less grimdark than before (if you ignore Prague, which could have been its own OVA, sadly).

I liked the original better, but II's hardly a trash fire like some sequels (i.e. GSD). Hell, Blade even gets to do stuff again after all the shit he went through by the end of the first series. Might have been better had it been longer than six eps.

Not counting remakes and mobages (though Master Asia's in those and as far as I know obtainable in both - he definitely is in X-O), since R, the only games with G Gundam are MX, J, Neo, and OE. MX is a post plot game and has good, plot reasons why Master Asia isn't recruitable. J has none. Neo is also post-plot, but chooses to use that to be Domon Alone and doesn't try and do anything like let him use the Sekiha Love Love Tenkyoken so fuck it. OE putting Master Asia in would require effort, and we all know what OE feels about effort.

I want to say SRW V's translation calls it Bulls-eye, that's the one you'll want to use against evasive enemies like Hokushin.

Also Attune, Zero-In, and Sense. Any of those will boost up your accuracy against that evasive little fuck.

Rest is all about just piling up on him and beating him down with your best attacks.

There weren't even any superpowers at ALL in the original Eureka Seven, unless you could Norb's powers upon merging with his Compac drive, which even then was only pretty minor and he only did it once anyway IIRC. However, it's not too bad so far but I hear that Truth is easily one of the worst parts of the show so I'll keep watching. If nothing else at least the show's purty to look at.

Because Nana Mizuki, being also a big singer, was probably difficult to schedule and had a shorter recording time than Miyano who's been in just about every SRW released in the last 5 years and practically lives there at this point.

Also Nana only had one character while Miyano had at least two, which also meant his session was probably longer. It's like wondering why Koyasu has so many lines when he often averages 2 to 3 characters per SRW.

Mamoru Miyano is basically a regular of the SRW cast now as well with how many roles he has in some shows, there was also a spinoff title I forget which also came under the SRW umbrella which basically had Miyano talking to himself because there was like 3 or 4 major characters all voiced by him.

I dont think it ruined the game at all I love the Camp of it all compared to the space opera that is Yamato and the gundams and the dark edginess of nadesico aswell as the grim mazinger Zero Impact. Its a pretty fun series much weaker though compared to GGG which might be the reason why I felt Mightgaine might be weaker

That's not what happened. They didn't retcon their appearance in the past games, but, rather, had the Solar Aquarion return to its "holding the world together" state in the aftermath of the Neo Genesis Quake.

It actually did turn into a blue and black repaint of Chaos Lemures for a minute there. It's down in the bottom-right, two left of Diamund.

Incidentally, Diamund has a field portrait, along with a bunch of the other Arksaber robots. I'd guess there was either more planned for Tengoku or, what I think is more likely, they decided to hold back a bunch of stuff for when they eventually redo the story in OG and have to expand on it. It would explain why some parts of Tengoku are disappointing, such as no Glory Stars combination, or why others are visibly held back: Cielo Beater was on the Solarian the whole time and could have been Gunleon's third pilot, Librasta T is a test-type machine that isn't actually meant to be its final form, Geminion has transformation components that it never uses, Xine was meant to steal the Capricorn Sphere from its previous owner before Asakim stole it first, Pisces didn't get used by anyone at all. Hopefully the OG team gives us a stage or two where AG takes over the Geminion and we actually get to fight it in its Chaos Lemures form.
