What went wrong?
>>
>>15648566
If you want to complain about ANN/MAHQ/Mecha Talk/Anime Suki, why don't you go to those places instead of here?
>>
>>15648566
It was fine.
>>
>>15648566
>What went wrong?
No 3rd cour
>>
>>15648566
Why do you insist in trying to shitpost this show? No one gave attention to you every other time you tried this
>>
>>15648582
This pretty much
>>
IMS handled it
>>
>>15648566
Pretty much everything.
>>
>>15648566
>What went wrong?
somehow it got a dedicated shitposter, kinda like concrete revoluto or what ever it was called.
>>
>>15648566

Not a damn thing. Only problem is you, you weird ass shit poster
>>
>>15649502
Coincidentally, I remember people back in the Concrete Revolutio /a/ threads talking about Active Raid, too. They said that if a guy liked CR he would probably like to check out Active Raid.
>>
>>15649502
>>15649547

It's sad that /a/ threads would hit 300+ every week and /m/ got fucking nothing
>>
>>15649547
Does the reverse hold true? Haven't seen CR
>>
>>15649576
I didn't like it as much as active raid, but felt like it was a pretty fun show.
>>
>>15649586
I only felt like Active Raid was just slightly above average, so I'm not really sure I should bother
>>
Too much colateral damage. And then JUSTICE getting to command her own squad to cause collateral and inlateral (?) damage.
>>
>>15649592
I'll say give it a shot. It's kinda a pandering show for /m/en though. References everywhere that most people won't get.
>>
>>15649576
Cr's message and tone is more serious than active raid. Its about what justice is, is law=good, qho has the right to justice and what lengths would you take to uphold it
>>
>>15649608
Hm. Well it'll be at the bottom of my backlog on account of being made by BONES. I've long since learned not to trust them to make a good mecha show
>>
>>15649576
Dunno, I ended not watching Active Raid, yet. I liked it, it was a interesting series and a little different from the majority of stuff we have today.

>>15649608
The references are plenty, but I will do say that as much knowing them add to the entertainment, at least for me, not knowing them doesn't take nothing away. The characters and events are develop enough by themselves during the series.

>>15649623
Bones did a good job in the action sequences. Especially when detective Raito was on scene.

ConRevo was meh but critics masturbate to it so much I resent the idea of anyone calling it good. AR was one of the worst anythings I ever finished and I have no idea what the hell half the people here see in it. It had zilch.
>>
>>15649528
Wow your post reeks of patrician smugness.
>>
>>15649718
I tolerated felcher gundam more than I ever did Active Raid, it was that repulsive.
>>
>>15648566
It was so vapid I genuinely could not find one decent thing to say about it.
>>
I wish ConRevo fags would leave, it had serious problems especially in the first half and eberything it attempted was done a thousand times better in Aquarion Logos.
>>
>>15649724
Iron Menstruation is the real nickname used here, boy. Otherwise I agree, justice woman wspecially deserved a happy boat end.
>>
>>15649715
>>15649733
>>15649727
Goddamn, you always say the exact same shit everytime you try to shitpost, be it be this, IBO or ConRevo, you always use braindead pettiness as if it is somehow a argument, it really is no wonder no one even bothers trying to talk about any new show on /m/ anymore

What confuses me about this is why you left /v/ if you hate anything and everything /m/ related
>>
>>15649724
>>15649727
>>15649730
>>15649733
Samefagging this hard about two shows only a few anons watched on /a/ no less, now there is something pathetic, it's also funny how you make same mistake in your posts by pressing the keys right beside the letter you want
>wspecially
>eberything
>>
>>15649737
>he thinks a bunch of people are one guy from /v/
>>
>>15648566
Pacing, art, animation, music, characters, plot, setting, writing, and even the action scenes. Throwing in forced ecchi was the cherry on top of the shit sundae. Even Iron Blooded Ovaries at least had Ein and Galan, this had.... Fish hook guy?

>>15649715
>>15649730
This so much, Concrete Revolutio was a mess.
>>
@15649774
>Doesn't even post an edited screenshot showing that only one of them was you

I deliberately only quoted one of your posts at a time in another thread to prevent you from doing that, but it turns out I underestimated you. You're gonna have to work harder than that to get a (you) from me, kiddo
>>
>>15649788
Found Macross World being paranoid as fuck over nothing.
>>
>>15648566
- The overarching plot was very, very bland. It gave me the same feeling I got when watching Gatchaman Crowds. It's like the plot for SAC has been endlessly recycled and slightly updated until we get this.

- The tone was sort of all over the place. One of our main characters is ex-special forces garbage man, and we had that whole episode about an NEET trying to profess his love for traps (and the voice actor terrorism stuff), but we also have the episode where the guy makes wind chimes out of beer cans, and the one with the pictures of trains.

Aside from those two things, it was pretty fun. The visuals weren't fantastic, but I didn't go in expecting Gunbuster, so I don't mind. I didn't hate the characters, I didn't hate the world. The standalone episodes were really entertaining to watch. I just wish they hadn't followed quite so much of a formula, because the parts I enjoyed most were the ones that felt like they were new.
>>
>>15649784
>Throwing in forced ecchi was the cherry on top of the shit sundae
THIS. Honestly AR needed to chuck the sex appeal shit.
>>
@15649794
>Macross World
>Not robotechx
Come on, man, /m/ actually does look down on the latter. Nice hypocrisy, btw, but I do wonder why you're being so transparent. What's the point of all this? Are you false flagging?
>>
>>15649810
>What's the point of all this?
There is no point, good stuff should be praised and bad stuff should be tarnished.
>>
>>15649797
But I liked Gatchaman Crowds.
>>
I like ConRevo's season 1 writer since I'm a tokufag.

Is it really not worth it? I was interested in season 1.
>>
>>15649502
And it's weird the guy never showed up when it was airing, just all of a sudden
>OKAY THIS SHOW IS OVER NOW, SO IT IS NOW COMPLETE SHIT AND YOU WILL NEVER BE ALLOWED TO DISCUSS IT AGAIN.
>>
>>15648566
>Active Raid
>wrong

Nothing really. It was just okay, nothing worth writing home about. Like watching old Tokusatsu.
>>
>15649715
I thought CR was great and AR was good, so you might have impossible expectations.
>>
>>15649797
It was more like an 80s live action TV series than specifically SAC to be honest.

The tone was lighthearted throughout, but since it's episodic obviously the show did have a small number of slightly darker episodes, but it was still cheery overall.
>>
>>15649922
toku refs are a joke, just skip it
>>15649986
Wow your post is obnoxious
>>
>>15649989
I really wouldn't say it's episodic. One of the things that made Active Raid stand out is how the story would tie everything together using a number of seemingly innocuous details. Everything we were led to believe was unimportant turned out to be a part of a greater plan, which was neat. I know other shows have done this, but you still don't see it very often
>>
>>15650068

See that's what I always love seeing. Let's you have a "bigger" plus but ultimately it's focused on just having fun and you can watch any episode on its own
>>
>>15649784
>Throwing in forced ecchi was the cherry on top of the shit sundae
I honestly don't remember any of that.
>>
>>15650490
A while back someone posted the images of the girls from the swimsuit episode where the guy was taking pictures of girls and selling them as dolls or something. Theb episode was in season 2. Anyway ever since that thread we've had that same post in every thread about this show.
>>
>>15650490
>>15650635
>ignoring the fact there was constant female gaze and almost every female cast member was in high heels
Way too fanservicy
>>
>>15649547
They aren't really alike.
That said

>>15649576
You should check out CR anyways because its a great show.
>>
>>15649784
>Start with "pacing"
>expect to be taken seriously
>>
>>15649576
Painfully mediocre do not watch
>>
>>15649797
>The overarching plot was very, very bland.
Its a cast-based show, not a plot based one.

>The tone was sort of all over the place. I´m not seeing the problem at all here.

If he wants to be ear raped by awful music and given a mind rotting structure that's his decision, I'm just trying to warn the anon.

I never get these complaints. Like people complaining Kuromukuro had too much fanservice, and I barely remember any. Maybe the cosplay bits, but that's it.
>>
>>15651046
It's shitposting, he's grasping at any straw he can for the (You)s. Haven't you been able to grasp that from this thread?
>>
>>15651046
Look at his other posts in the thread or wheneve anyone says anything about IBO, it's clearly a /v/erming who ended on /m/ for reasons that no one will ever understand since he absolutely hates everything /m/related and shitposts in the exact same way in almost every show.

Active Raid, Concrete Revolutio, Kuromukuro all had 10 viewers at most on /m/ and were barely talked about and yet this autist took to absolutely shitting on the threads for no real reason
>>
>>15649922
I liked ConRevo. It's a very flawed show, granted. I really like Cold War era movies and it's basically one of those just as an anime.
>>
>>15648571
The guy is a pussy. He knew his ass will be beaten there so he went here to spew his shit.

How about the fact that you post the exct same way, EVEN THE FUCKING TYPOS ARE THE SAME, you have to have some serious brain damage to think you're some stealthy master of trolling to not notice how impossibly obvious your posting style is, jesus fucking christ.

If you were a literal child I would understand this, but this dedication to shitting every single goddamn thread about any new show is something only a mentally stunted /v/erming would do.

How fucking empty does your life have to be for you to come to /m/ to shitpost?
>>

I like season 1 a lot more than season 2, but that's not to say s2 is bad. I feel like they just covered a lot of the great material with s1 and had to stretch a little for stuff to make s2 cover.

Straight 7/10 series for me, flawed and a bit basic but I enjoyed it all in all. S2 was a bit better than S1. Tried to be Patlabor meets Metal Heroes and almost but didn't quite get there. Probably would've benefitted from trimming the size of the cast down a bit to be honest.
