It looked like they sent some grunt to buy all the best selling western games at the store and had the character designer to rip of them off. The environment was the pinnacle of blandness. Enemies are okay though.

It has some of the best robot enemies in any game ever.

A game that's okay to play, and fun to watch if you're into cheesy 80s sci-fi. It also makes far more sense when you realize it's the Yakuza team what made this game.

Good ideas, terrible execution. People think it's good because it makes them feel better since they've played it and not much people talk about it. Gameplay is good, but everything else was okay to awful. People also could have played the multiplayer. Only ever got a few matches.

It was pretty fun, I enjoyed the characters and the story. The gameplay was nothing special (not mentioning the dumb voice commands forced on you) but was satisfying. The multiple endings does add a bit of replayability, but I felt the game was too short to actually carry your choices through and interact with all the characters properly.

Fantastic video game, an exemplar of what video games should be. The shooting is awesome and the robot destruction is great. Graphics are clean but detailed at the same time and the animations are top notch. The story is unique, fun, and well told and the characters are memorable. The little mini conversation system is cool too. Sequel: NEVER EVER

it's a pretty underwhelming third person shooter, I've heard millions say it was an "underrated gem", but I'm guessing they're just saying that because it has Blade runner esc writing and robots, but it's got pretty sub par third person shooting.
