Re-GZ and ZZ are the best out of the entire Zeta family tree. Everything else is just variations on Zeta's waverider or bastard lovechildren of Zeta and Methuss.

I certainly enjoy playing as it more in Extreme VS Force than I do the Nu-Gundam, despite being only a 1000 cost whereas the latter is 3 times that.

Re-GZ cannot transform into waverider mode on its own. It has to be docked with the BWS.

It was a cost cutting measure for the Zeta's complicated transformation.

Re-GZ is a sexy curvy machine that doesn't rely on "Gundam" plot armor. It has real solid weapons, and needs a skilled pilot to use it to it's full potential. The fact that a child (looking at you Banagher) can't use it right off the bat makes it even more appealing. It's given to pilots who actually prove themselves.

It walks the fine line between being a workhorse unit, and a specialty unique suit. Re-Gz is far more interesting than any bland vanilla "gundam" that steamrolls through enemies.
