Anyone who's saying to just ignore it is living with their head stuck in the sand refusing to acknowledge the actual problem; the board is in dire need of chemo, as is it's just a shitposting factory.

Nuke the general threads, they only serve to reduce diversity of discourse while also encouraging posters within to resort to shitposting to keep their general afloat. The resulting flood of threads would encourage discussion valued not by memes or shitposting, but by content, like how it's supposed to be.

It would also wash away low quality bait like OP's persistent passive aggressive insinuation that everything is Valvrave's fault. A higher turnover of content is preferable to stale content, if you don't want your thread to die go start a forum instead of trying to emulate a forum on an image board.

I've been here since the board was created and I can say that only one thing has changed: most of the fun content has been discussed to death and now all we can do is shitpost.
This is partially why toku was allowed on here, but even then we're still a slow board at the end of the same.

I'm fan of Actas' Nagai works like SKL and Jeeg, so it's pretty disappointing to see them fail hard at their own original mecha show. I guess they tried to replicate the success of Girls und Panzer without understanding that mecha loli and /k/ loli would aim completely different audiences.
