The manga run of UC finished a while ago, so what are your thoughts?
It initially had the perks of introducing new Mobile suits from the Silver Bullet and up to the Byarlant Unit 02 for Ridhee,
It was praised for following the novel plot but this was only up to a certain point, around the final space arc. It was also the point where no new MS were being introduced.
The last novel faithful portion was the part where the Tri-Stars and two Clop Classes had a skirmish with Frontal and Angelo while chasing the empty Garenceries.
After that, there was absolutely nothing new and following the anime very closely.
There was a bonus scene of the Rebawoo appearing only to be gunned down by Bangaher's gatling. The Jagd Doga also had a death scene added.

Of course, the other ongoing change was that all Unicorn Gundams used the Armed Armor DE Booster Shield till the very end.

Does this mean the Tri-Stars stay in spaceand Watts died saving Banagher from the Psyco Jammer since Ra Cailum's role in the novel is slightly different from the OVA?

This is the same battle as the beginning of Novel Vol.8 where we are introduced to the Sinanju's bazooka.

The extra scenes of Marida suffering were delicious, 10/10. I can't fucking believe they didn't include the ice cream scene of all things goddamit
But that aside, it was ok but the earlier part of the manga looked better. Towards the end the artstyle simply shifted to uncanny valley shit. I just wish they would expand even more on the novel only events.
