What a shit looking Gundam. It's like Sunrise doesn't even try anymore. How about hiring some fucking good mecha designers, 'cause right now the monkeys are in charge.

pick one.

he isn't thicc
Sorry, getting in shape is the new thing.
>>15635397
Hideous. Has none of The-O-riginal's charm.
>>15635375
Hazel gundam and its series are over a decade old anon.

The O is fat.
>>15635388
Pity she decided to slim down so much

Why do people like AoZ and it's designs? FYI I'm not trying to start shit since I have no idea what is aside from a manga. I mean the Gundams designs all look bizarre as hell, including that one but that's the one that looks less bizarre.

I kind of agree, but mostly because I think the AoZ's Gundam design is very messy. It would probably look a lot better if AoZ got a proper animation like Thunderbolt.
can someone recommend me some good UC manga
>>15635583
Better than the 400th Kondo version.
>>15635429
Damn straight! Get out, twiggies!
>>15635601
You know he and Makoto Kobayashi only have like...3 versions of it at the most, right? Of course that high a number is probably too much for someone like you to keep track of.
>>15635577
Titans colors make everything better and AoZ slaps those colors onto every Titans suit except The O. Plus the AoZ Gundams are the best example of modular suits in the entire franchise hands down.
>>15635602
I will always hate those stupid ass looking sub-arms on anything.
>>15635622
Fite me faggot. I'll go full Mecha-Shiva on your ass.
>>15635585
If AoZ got animated it would all be 3d models
>>15635621
I just finished looking at AoZ on the wiki, why do the have so many blocks and edges? Is that just because of the illustrator?
>>15635631
Virtue>Seravee
>>15635638
Because the artist wanted to make a really cool mech with modular equipment, but then decided that you shouldn't be able to easily discern what it is you're looking at.
>>15635585
TR-6 was the only weird one as it had no connection from any existimg mobile suit.
>>15635577
I like the general aesthetic and design elements. Other than that it delivers interesting designs that can fit with it's time period. Quite a lot of the designs' weirdness have a feeling of experimental technology that hasnt been streamlined yet and that has it's own charm.
Another charming point is the modularity of the designs and the general development tree. You can see how designs derive from older ones and how combining them with other designs or elements creates a new ones that keeps the feeling of the old one but is more advanced or serves a different role.
Honestly I cant quite put my finger on what makes AoZ designs so great for me. I do like their aesthetic in general but there are other factors as well which I cant really write down clearly.
I guess if you are fascinated with the development of new and experimental technology and tech development trees AoZ hits those spots as well.

>the Gundams designs all look bizarre as hell,
That's the appeal for me, along with the cluttered "we put this together to test some weapons real quick" nature of the designs.
>>15635632
I wou;dn't mind as long it was sunrise's Code Geass quality CG.
The only thing I'd worry about is choreography.
The MS in AoZ are huge so the camera shouldn't be zipping around and they shouldn't be moving at ftl speeds.
