Non-/m/ guy here. I have a small request of sorts. What are some retro mecha with chunky square arms/legs? Think Transformers, 80's super sentai, etc. Preferably with geometric, square forms.
Something like this?
Also, if you haven't already, you should ask /toy/, as they would probably be more knowledgeable

Well I'm not looking for toys specifically, just series/manga, so I thought this would be better place to ask.

Thanks. This looks close, although I'd prefer bigger rectangular arms like this
Godmars, just about anything from the Brave series, and a lot of old super robots from the 70's-80's.

Oh god dammit I posted too late and basically summed up the above posts.

Thanks, Godmars really hits the spot. Can you advice something with disproportionately big arms specifically? Like this

Thanks

They're not really square shaped and some shots do make them look smaller, but it must be said that the SDF-1 Macross battleship has two smaller battleships for arms.

Oh yeah, I was looking for that one among others. Thanks

It's not square but Big O's got the Popeye arms going.

Laserion

Turbo Rugger, Five Robo, Muteki Shogun
>>15630758
Max Magma, King Pyramider, Grand Liner, Tenrai Senpuujin
all are sentai
>>15632348
It doesn't get much more square than that. I can never decide if I hate Laserion more with or without the Laser Battle Gear.

Thanks, I appreciate it

Oh in case you didn't know there are a slew of Transformers anime from the 80s. You might like stuff like victory, headmasters etc
