Did /m/ played Quake 4 and Quake Wars? It has mechas and a lot

I always loved the space marine armor on Quake 4.
The mechs, the weapons and the spaceships and the dropships were also cool.
Quake4 maybe not the best FPS ever but is a solid game and the general scenery and ambientation was also pretty cool, like gore halo with a lot of rust.

Given that humanity is being fucked in the ass by the strog, QW is pretty light-hearted
all those voice taunts messages were hilarious. and also those adverts by rooster teeth

QW: Enemy Territory was a fucking GREAT game. Too bad it was so short-lived.

Q4 was pretty meh, but had some cool moments like the stroggification segment.

Never played Quake Wars, Q4 was pretty poor. Completley lacked the charm of Quake 2's monsters, level design & world. They couldn't even be arsed giving Stroggos an orange sky, how am I supposed to accept it as being the same planet when the sky is the wrong colour and there's now 20% more gravity?
