Which neglected mecha series would you like to see get a new animated story instead of ANOTHER new Gundam series that we keep getting?
Daiohja
A sequel to Dai-guard where Akagi has to somehow convince three uninterested pilots who got roped into d into working minimum wage piloting a giant super robot thinking it was actually a job delivering pizzas to become the hotblooded heroes that also have to occasionally run pizza deliveries as publicity stunts to attract customers.

We need actual endings for about half the things Obari worked on. That'd be nice
I also feel the need for more King Gainer. They kept hinting at the setting being more important than it really was and it never got fleshed out enough as a result

>Which neglected mecha series would you like to see get a new animated story instead of ANOTHER new Gundam series that we keep getting?
I want a remake of Baldios
>>15628722
>instead of ANOTHER new Gundam
Why not both? Not like Bandai doesn't have the studios to do so.
FSS anime when?
From a game perspective I want mor Front Mission.
For me, Gundam™ is the patrician choice among mecha anime franchises
Tekkaman Blade

Dai Guard goes hunting heterodyne around the world fighting along side different nations Kogabogas
I want to say VOTOMS, but considering Bandai's track record for non-Gundam projects in the past few years....
So I dunno... Orguss?
Xabungle; it's a fun and lawless setting and the ending didn't necessarily stop that, along with another major motivation still being in play.

>EVERYBODY'S GETTING BACK ON THE RIDE

I'd love to see a serious Battletech anime using the Japanese designs.
F91
>>15628722
I'd like to see a Getter Robo or Nadesico revival
A remake of the first half of Tekkaman Blade so that we don't have half the series looking like ass.

>VOTOMS
>neglected
To date Votoms has had 1 full series and no less than 9 OVAs, the last of which was in 2011. It is not neglected, if anything Takahashi refuses to let it die.
>>15629049
sorry my bad, 9 OVA sets. The majority of those OVAs were multiple episodes each.
>>15628722
Dougram.
I want to see where the deloyer independence shit goes.
Gothicmade anime 1 episode per year.

pic related
Kuumin…
Just give me a new Zoids anime centered around the original battle story of the model kits.
An actual adaptation of the Getter manga.by Toei with a real budget behind it
>>15628722
I want to have a remake (possibly OVA) of the TMS/80s!Tetsujin (a la 2004!Tetsujin in terms of darker stuff and drama) but I don't think it's unlikely since some people preferred the original version of it or likely going to rant about it.
If not, have a Southern Cross remake with more sense plots and have either a Dunbine character designer and/or Cross Ange character designer as the character designer/s of the series.
Also, any old school mecha can do for the remakes
>>15628722
Does it count if it never really got a series to begin with and any hope of it ever happening was forever killed by moe bullshit?
tekkaman and getter were mentioned so ill say break blade
>>15628832
>>15629063
How would you even do FSS as an anime? It doesn't lend itself well to the format at all
>>15629288
Put the Love Live idols in it.
>>15629170
Nasty
>>15628722
A fucking 3rd gen Armored Core anime with actually interesting story to go with. 2D or CG doesn't matter.
>>15629290
Why not make them as guests in AKD or in concert areas?
>>15628832
>Not like Bandai doesn't have the studios to do so.
Studios don't draw anime, people do. And there's not a lot of animators who are able to draw robots.
>>15628722
A iterations of Rayearth and Escaflowne. They should be close to the source material in terms of feel, but still be retellings of these two shows.
probably orguss since that universe has a lot of potential
>>15629436
Or want to, though that's good
>>15628832
Because Bandai will never ever touch FSS.
>>15629316
Yeah but imagine if they actually did it.
>>15629821
It would be shit
>>15628722
G Gundam.
