Can we have a good thread for the best dads of /m/?
>rescue an undocumented child from slavery and sex trade
>turn her into a child soldier
I guess that's an improvement.

To be honest I don't know what I could've done if I were in his shoes too. Fighting was all she was programmed to do, right?
But still, he should've stopped her from going out in a damaged bellpepper. Now that was retarded
James is best daddy. A lesser man would have spent half the series just to warm up to Doll face but not James. He was a great dad to the lil giant robot girl from the start.
Shhhh.
The Best.

I didn't even realize why but I decided to rewatch this after I emailed my Dad. Idolo was fucking sad. Why one earth couldn't they put this much effort into the plot of the actual game I wonder?
Why did this series peak and fade into obscurity so quickly?

Because ZoE was an excuse to send out a demo of MGS2 and make money off it.Then over a decade later they did the same thing with the HD collectionAnd then said fuck it and just sold a demo with MGS GZ
If not for his job, Zeon could be a good dad.

That...makes a lot of sense. Did the comedy remain this good throughout the show? I really wish I appreciated the John Carter thing all those years back.

At least ZOE 2 has the sass to compensate for the more run-of-the-mill fist game.
Truly best.
Unironically Fumihiko Makabe.
Adoptive, but still good dads

Yeah, James is great. Wish mecha had more characters like him.

Denon Cashim was also a very compelling father. At the start it seemed like he'd be a villain, but by the end you could tell that he and Crinn had more of a relationship with each other than any of Crinn's siblings.

It remains solid. James meeting that books author was wonderful. James is just constantly the best ranging from cantankerous old guy, to big dorky kid to complete badass.
