What did Tomino think about IBO?

>But Tomino-sama, we can't have our own opinion if we don't have yours!
He probably didn't watch it, but he would probably think that the pacing is too slow

he is fucking old , anything longer than 15 minutes to deliver a message must be a risk to leave unifnished as he might die during its view.
maybe thats why g-reco was such a heaping pile of garbage for pacing or narration
( joking aside, g-reco literally gave me headaches during the first 6 episodes until i gave up and just watched the robot porn )

Joking aside anything longer than that to tell a story, even an episodic one is a pretty shitty way to write a TV script.

If you asked him, he'd probably go on a rant about how awful it is and then say "but I'm not saying it's bad", just like the last few times people asked him about AUs.
I'm a bit surprised we haven't gotten any reviews or such out of Japan concerning IBO. We got that one review from a newspaper for G-Reco and Urobuchi's thoughts on it, so you'd think we'd get something concerning how heavily promoted IBO was.

I don't know about critics, but fans over there seem to eat it up.

Its most likely because most people don't expect much from Nagai and Okada. I mean compared to Tomino that's respected by Vets in the Industry, Nagai and Okada aren't exactly people to look out for.

I doubt Tomino watches much Gundam anymore for some reason, but I'd imagine that he didn't like the excessive violence and empty message of IBO.

Who cares?

dunno, Tomino?
Probably not enough UNDERSTANDING and naked space seances for him to like it.
