Flag has terrible ammo on the main, good sub decent amount of cancel routes from ashura technique, and pretty high speed octane action.

Exia is basically the same with a shield dash and gero. Decent mobility and close range tools to kite and get in/out with.

You don't have to worry about being labeled a tryhard, the changes to the cost system means that 500s are kinda shit. You lose much more gauge per death in this game than you would in the Extreme VS games and the difference in general performance between 500 and say a 300 isnt that huge.

Maybe I worded it poorly, but 300s for example lose 30% gauge per death compared to 33% in exvs, 200s 20% compared to 25% in MBON and 400s 40% compared to 41.6% in MBON. Meanwhile 500s still lose 50%. It sounds relatively minor, but the changes are very noticeable. You can field 400/300 teams with no overcost, 300/300 pairings that are extremely durable.

There isnt such a huge powergap between 500s and 300s this time but you lose 200 more gauge per death for roughly the same amount of hp.

I could see them making 200 cost packs of units for less money cause like another anon said I too doubt people would actually buy a 200 cost regardless of who the pilot is. selling them as sets of 3s may be the way to go but who knows. we only have 2 DLC units confirmed and both are rather nice.
