I knew he did a lot of animation work for late 80s to mid-90s Sunrise shows before heading over to work with Kojima's team in Konami, but I didn't now he seemed to...specialize...in shows with big hooters and sexy skinsuits. First game was short, but not bad. Introduced the setting.

I like the setting of Zone of the Enders. It's a real pity they didn't more with the franchise.

Always enjoyed Kojimbo's take on Space Colonization. Fist of Mars shows the struggles a spacenoid independence movement faces as even a food tax is an issue. That and Policenauts giving a picture of what life in the spacr colony is like

Played through this recently, though was hot out of beating a stack of SRWs and this sure as heck isn't SRW. Using IAS just makes things too easy and attacks take forever.

Still loved the crit system though, and the plot wasn't half bad. The BIS team has great chemistry and it all felt a bit Eureka 7. Cage went Leo a few times but was a lot more likable, Myona a cute, Semyl best girl. Phil got NTRed so much he switched sides which was hilarious. The plot twist I figured would happen, but it mixed things up well. Mostly great soundtrack too. Dat intermission track.

I quite liked it, though it's been ages. I remember the opening was rather clever--you jump into the robot and have to fight a bunch of enemies with no knowledge of the controls at all, cos you just stumbled into it, and only get the proper tutorial afterwards.

The HD collection had pretty piss poor performance on its initial release. Up-rezzed PS2 games should have been running at 60fps no problem, but High Voltage is a shit developer.KojiPro had to step in to fix the PS3 version but the 360 version never got properly fixed
