Source? Miyazaki himself said he was pretty much done with Souls series games (Bloodborne included) and wanted to do something else. And considering he helped make one of the best Armored Core games ever (4Answer), I think him and the A-team couldn't do wrong.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to Battletech as well. I'm enjoying the demo; it's not quite the same (you can't customize individual parts, can you?) but the aesthetics and music remind me of Front Mission just a little bit, which is nice (though probably not intentional).

Well, the demo is a really bare-bones skirmish mode that's just for bug hunting right now. We'll get a lot more stuff in the actual game, not the least of which is story, moving from planet to planet, etc.

They're still slowly making more stuff, but now you can join in on the EA train.
Still attending conventions in Japan, release due for 2018.

It's gonna be a long run but they're Asians so I think they'll see it through eventually.

Yeah, it's really unfortunate, I was thinking of getting a VR headset myself for it. Since I'd love to pretend i'm in a gay airplane shooting other gay airplanes, while yelling "Fox Two" to myself. Maybe next time.

I'm not sure what they were thinking. Though Ace Combat isn't that much of a sim, more arcadey, but I still see where youre coming from. Maybe the delay to 2018 will give it full campaign VR. A boy can dream

Aside from the already mentioned stuff, I'm also looking forward to successful emulation of the 2006's generation Armored Cores. Doesn't matter if it's Xenia or RPCS3 that manages it, trying out these games was alwways a nice proposition and what's more, they ran absolutely horribly on the hardware so an emulation boost would also be appreciated down the line.

Like >>15587299 said, there's a lot of love from fans and too well done of a production to leave it for good. We can only hope a Armored Souls games is coming, but a BB sequel is realistic. I can see the creator being done with ominous Souls business for years though.

DCS and IL-2 Sturmvovik have VR. You need expensive hardware to make them run properly with VR though.

Gonna stop by to shill Brigador. I'm not a dev but I think the game is definitely underrated. It's a rogue like isometric shooter where you pilot a mech and try to blow everything up.

It's also on sale right now if you want to pick it up for less than 15 dollars.

Definitely seconding this. You just walk around and destroy everything while piloting a mech (or a tank if that's more your speed).

Default controls are a pain in the ass though, so either rebind or accept the learning curve
