Technically speaking, JIBAN. Was probably the most advanced suit made by Toei. In general, I would rank: Jiban > Shinning version of Juspion > Armored Jiraiya. In sentai, only Deka in SPD mode.

80's suits are the best: not so jurassic like 60's-70's, not so glittered and asymmetrical like post-2000.

Definately. The original suits had a lot of empty "negative" space in the form of black fabric needed to allow the joints to move but the Lost Shine version reduced it without making it look cluttered but still keeping mobility. I lost track of how many times Kouga got stabbed behind the knee because that's the obvious unarmored part. The suit design was certainly a high point of an otherwise controversial entry.

I kind of disagree, the black part looks more plastic than metal and it kind of throws off the appeal of wearing a suit of armor to kill shit in. Plus, the choices of where to put the gold make it kind of look shitty. The jaw is black and only the pectoral muscles are gold and I can't find myself liking how they made it. Knight of the White Night looks ten thousand times better than the Golden Knight anyways. I'm upset Tsubasa only has seldom appearances in the show.

I can understand that, the lack of gold as you go down is kind of a killer and doesn't quite hit the same appeal of the original. The gold skull/black jaw is fucking dope though.

It depends on the helmet. Also they have multiple different versions for close ups/stunts.
