I like how after about episode 12 all the fair weather fan lightweights stop following the show, and quit shitting up the threads, right as Q2 starts.

They probably "killed" champ because they're trying to see if killing a character at the start of Q2 works as well for Sentai as it did for Rider.

Champ's not quite dead, he'll come back of course, but this is the closest a sentai has been to killing its own and having it mean something in a long time.

I doubt they'd go that far. If nothing else just because they sorted too many "traditional' colors onto the suit actors. Having a Sentai with a dead black is ok if you have a green, but a sentai with no pink or blue together would be kind of out there.

Basically yeah. Hell, Lucky is pretty much what happens when you mix Bakumaru's screentime focus with Gao's writer favoritism. At least unlike his Eto Ranger counterpart Hols, Champ does get focus on occasion.
