I've seen every Casshern. Original's good but it doesn't have much the OVAs don't have. Sins is the most interesting, and stylish.

Yeah, thought it was pretty good and even rather dark for a kids show. The recycled animation got a bit tedious at times, but the other parts made up for it. Overall I would still say Sins is the best, with the OVA being the worst.

70s Tatsunoko shows were fucking awesome, shame the entire studio went to the dogs in the 80s and onward, with not a single good title in nearly 30 years.

There are some dark deaths and such, but the feel of the show certainly isn't. It's Casshan fighting silly robots, and then somebody gets impaled and electrocuted with 4 spike shooters.
