Unlike before those big games aren't off in the distance without even a trailer, we know whats coming and they all have dates lined up giving a constant steady stream of decent games.

Which is already a huge improvement over the WiiU which after release went for like a whole year & half without a notable release.

Also the Switch revived the Bomberman franchise in a big way, which makes it cool in my book. It is literally the most successful it's ever been in it's whole history since it's golden heyday.

I don't get the complains about Cross Ange's getting a seperate country in V.
They never stated that the Misurugi Empire is stationed in Japan so there's no need to push the other characters into that setting from the start. Also people taking Mana from Aura and that dragon being stationed under the Empire means that you can throw Cross Ange's setting anywhere, even outer space in a whole different planet, so isn't it actually more convenient to do that?

X-O is a poorly-balanced game, even by mobile standards. It's not like there's a lot you can do to increase survivability. Chain Chronicle (which X-O took the engine from) at least had a dedicated healer class that usually had a party-heal super move, so you can recover all that unavoidable damage.

My constantly-shifting cast list for an imagined SRW involving lower Earthborn tech levels hinges a little on having a Tetsujin of some kind on the cast as one of the only Earth-made super robots.

FX is a sequel to Tetsujin 28, right? I thought I heard somewhere that Tetsujin FX itself is the original Tetsujin with a shell of extra armor and weaponry and such. Is that true or am I getting my info mixed up somewhere? I wanted to figure out whether it would be better to use classic/remake Tetsujin 28 or FX as part of the cast.

Aside from him it's two combiner teams, one with 2 members and one with 3 members where basically none of them have a personality to speak of. Also very few attacks.

V Crystal = Weapon damage +200; change all terrain adaptations to A.

Likely is deliberate with bits of Ode to Joy mixed into UN Owen was her and also Septette for a Dead Princess. Fun fact about that fight too is Flandre is one of the few fights with a enemy exclusive dynamic kill and it's a pretty good one too.

If you enjoyed that scene then you'll love Dream even more, that scene was basically the prototype before they go really nuts with scripted battle scene events and they do a few of them.

This happens in Dream and is basically the Scarlet scene 2.0. with Satori trying to reconcile with Koishi.

Finger Missiles never have been in. Mostly because even Go Nagai thinks they're dumb as shit, which is why they show up so rarely.

Southern Cross Knives and Reitou Beam were staples in old SRWs that did the "let things have every attack and none of them get animation and half of them are literally 100% pointless" thing. Reitou always was there at the start despite being like the last attack on the list of things Mazinger got, and usually at least had the fact that it was the most accurate attack on the list - but it hit so shittily that no one ever cared. Southern Cross Knives was literally pointless in every game as the Jet Scrander that always brought it in also brought in the Iron Cutter that 100% outclassed it (and in the one game where it didn't, Rocket Punch at base did.)

He was the real hero of the story, him and that one guy who led the force of people who shot swords out of their longbows like ten years before it was cool.
