Also, man, Kuroto may be pretty insane, but he did make Chronicle with the idea that SOMEONE would eventually clear it, the entire point of getting infected when you play it is to get the antibody required to be able to transform into Chronus. It's pretty ingenious. The tale of a hero that overcomes all odds and gets his powerup right before the last boss appears. Loverica's whole thing with Poppy would have meant that it would have been players trying to get Poppy onto their side and she would have given them the Bug Visor Zwei for use against the higher rank bugsters and then BAM, you have the means to use it to transform.

This, Poppy was always made as a guide character, it's what she was made to do for CR. Kuroto was trying to get another Doremifa Beat Bugster so that Poppy could remain as the guide and we know that the Bug Visor Zwei was made for Bugster use almost exclusively, so she would have still gotten it as the guide. Beating Loverica's dating game in the correct way would have gotten Poppy on your side.

Who says it's the final boss? Chronos is just the penultimate, trying to delay the final boss so that people will continue to play the game. They still need to defeat Gemdeus to clear KRC. If this wasn't the case, then there would be no way to complete Chronicle, as Dan can't make a GashaTrophy from thin air, he only made DoReMiFa because Poppy was there, unless Dan can somehow make a GashaTrophy using the original Gashat, but that wouldn't make sense either, since then Dan could have just made the Trophies for Dragon Knight Hunter and Tokimeki Crisis to begin with, since the CR team has both of those Gashats.

So for the plot to continue, Loverica has to be "patched" out of the game

Kuroto's an sucky game dev because how was anyone expected to beat KRC had things gone according to his plans?

Ride Players are practically useless. Even Nico, the only one worth a damn, still needs Taiga's help to take down Bugsters other than Revol.

Even if the whole point of getting infected was to eventually overcome it to become Cronus after killing all the Bugsters, how was a Ride Player without help from CR expected to beat guys like Parad or Graphite? They would just Game Over them with no issues.

I think Kuroto just purposefully designed the game to be unbeatable so the TATAKAE WA NEVER END, but added in Cronus and Game Deus on the incredibly off chance that a player got that far.
