Was this a good romance?
>>15540879
No, but at least better than the Cuck Maiden's
>>15540879
Better than any fujoshit that would fill the role in western media
Better romance than Twilight.
>>15540879
>good romance
>in any anime ever

I still can't understand how the writer reached the logic of "This two girls loved the same guy/Inanimate object, so when he died, both married each other".
And before you have the work of writing it: Yes, I know what is the official excuse for this, but still sounds stupid.

Sometimes people grow close through grief. My dad married his brother's wife that way.

>>15541032
So is she your aunt or your mum?
>>15541035
Aunt. My mom was my dad's third wife, then she died.
>>15540879
Only when the two are alone. The show's insistence on forcing Kudelia into it ruined a rather cute relationship.
>>15540879
It was a good depiction of people who don't have proper role models trying to understand how they feel about one another and learn how to express their love for eachother. Their relationship was pretty much the source of all of Mika's character development. They could have played around with the idea a bit more and took it farther than they did, but I still enjoyed it.
>>15540879
It was okay, but I hated how Mika only showed any type of development when he was with Atra and Kudelia, and said development would completely vanish whenever someone else came along.
>>15541180
That’s an interesting way of seeing it, but like most things in IBO the execution IMO was really bad and ended looking like some weird twisted thing that something cute, even though it could have been cute in some ways
>>15540879
I don't think so. It's pretty obvious that Mikazuki's messed up and I feel that Atra was ignoring many aspects of that. It was like she only wanted to see the good things about the boy who saved her from the street, as well as being unhealthily obsessed with being with him. Her willingness to be a part of a harem rather than having to compete further highlights this. It wasn't a sweet relationship, it was a messed up one just like Mika and Orga's self-destructive co-dependent relationship with each other.

nigga please

Gundam Age was the greatest love story ever told

>tfw you will never have a doting caring angry girl nagging you until you love her as much as she does you.
kill me now
>>15541119
Totally agree. they need to stop Haremizing everyting ! Damn F*king otaku-obssesed-zen-gautamas !!!
>>15541014
I don't see what was illogical about that situation. Kudelia and Atra already loved each other regardless of Mika. So it makes sense when he dies they would still become a family.
My problem was forcing Kudelia into that relationship in the first place. When she spent most of the second season getting closer to Atra
>>15542203
>Fa and Kamille embracing at the end of A New Translation.
>>15542297
>Kudelia and Atra already loved each other regardless of Mika.
Nice headcanon. They were acquaintances at best and didn't interact much at all in the second season them getting married is just another asspull by Nagai and Okada for brownie points where nothing suggested that there was more to them than just being love interests to Mika.
>>15540879
If it had stopped Mika from being an autistic murderbot maybe,
>>15540879
in a perfect/civilized world? no.
for their scenario? it's the best they could ever get.
it wasn't great romance.
it was rushed sex.
sometimes, that's better. Mika was no good at romance, and neither was dog-ears. so, they screwed instead.
sometimes, it works.
>>15542312
This. All Atra's endeavours were for nothing. She only wanted the baby to make Mika think twice before committing sudoku on the battlefield. It didn't work.
>>15545409
Nah she wanted a baby ham
>>15542203
Not even the best romance subplot in Zeta.
Did someone say, "best Gundam romance?"
