Hmm, still seems scary even with a reinforced cockpit. In the mechwarrior lore, its often cited that its a really horrible experience to in a battlemech both due to loud sounds, extreme heat and sheer intimidation factor of the size of weapons used.

If they do end up piloting it, they should really put in a 360 camera inside the cockpit + a facecam gopro. That immersive experience would be quite the spectacle.

Even if they end up remote controlling them, I'd be down for that too. It'd be like regular RobotWars, except with super huge robots. Thats still worth watching for sure.

I was mostly referring to the mechwarrior battlemechs on that. They have nuclear reactors and lasers/ppcs/railguns that produce immense heat, while these irl mechs are probably running on regular gas engines and using hydraulic melee weapons. I don't think those would produce that much heat.

The arms look fast and strong enough to hold their own in melee. The torso height looks fine to me, maybe a slight bump if it's fighting the MKIII but the other robots - no problem.

The only thing I would do is reinforce the cockpit. Once you have that done this thing should totally be game to enter.

Watching the red generator behind makes you realize the power required for those movements, I have doubts that Kuratas (as of currently known) can handle those without additional external power supplies.
Also the ones they use for Super Guzzilla seems to be smaller in size than the ones they currently use for their construction models.
