I thought it was pretty awful but lots of people seem to think it's great. Then again the reads-poorly-translated-LNs-in-English community is so desperate that they'll lose their shit over just about any series.

Its about a godly Gary Stus with masterly over magic that would make even veterans and elves jealous. Masterly over magic circles which allows him to manipulate magic circles created by others. The greatest innovator of his world that threw common sense out of the window with the creation of a 4 arm knight, a centaur knight, a big carriage and mini knights. Greatest discovery ever guys!!!

Oh forgot to mention that he is the greatest pilot ever. Single handedly took out a giant demon that even elite veterans were incapable of taking out despite ganging up on it.

It's sorta stupid fun until the giant demon thing, which in the manga was a pretty nice-looking fight. After that it's all about him making mecha and something something politics and it's very fucking boring.
