Okay I'm gonna have to settle with disagreement on this one if it's with regards to Destiny. At least SEED runs a bit with Kira's origins and the pile of embryos it was built on, but Destiny managed to turn coordinator infertility into a forgotten settings note, despite it being there since SEED and also being one of Durandal's core reasons for all his plans.

That face when the writing is so weak that it even feels like the CE universe has the weakest technobabble in the Gundam franchise. Sure, N-jammer and its canceller is often mentioned, but the apparently awesome battery technology they have, how the ships and mechs produce thrust in space, as well as their beam weaponry weren't even explained.

In my opinion if fission power is still in vogue in CE the weapons should have just been typical chemically propelled projectiles out of guns and cannons and solid melee weapon stuff with the occasional rail/coil/gauss weapon. If CE was basically just Ginns and Cgues versus Moebiuses and Moebius Zeroes it would have been better, but Bandai's gotta sell toys.
