No, that was a flashback.

Coordinators don't always come out exactly like their parents wanted. Sometimes the eye color may be wrong, or they might have some sort of unwanted weakness like Lunamaria's problem shooting. These issues stem from Coordinators coming to term within their mother's wombs, a flaw in the process. They attempted to create artificial wombs to correct this, but it never worked until Kira came out exactly as planned. Then Blue Cosmos(?) attacked the lab while the colony was abandoned, official story is some sort of biological contamination rendering it uninhabitable.

CE had the best sound track before Unicorn came along, though X and Wing are trail behind pretty closely. The timing for the ED/OP/etc was really well done and the music fit the art style and shitty story telling.

I love SEED's music but Victory Gundam's OST is crimminally unnoticed.
It's tracks have this extremely innocent and pure quality to them and they help give the show's atmosphere depth.
The music in Victory's OST ranges everywhere from epic and melancholic to up beat and nostalgic.

We don't know if Creust can be considered a coordinator since he's a clone of Mu, but he is also capable of fighting on par with Kira or Assram, so he's probably the same as Mu.

This idea that they're newtypes is an easy inference to make because the animation gives us these clues. It never comes out and says it of course.
