Raws for the Lamune & 40 franchise on Nyaa were surprisingly well seeded a couple months ago. The Pastebin in OP has a link to NG and VS Fire raws although it's missing the other OVAs.

I'm tossing the subbed episodes of NG onto Mega right now. While the DDLs for 1-15 on the Nyoro~n Subs site still work, 16-18 were done by an /m/ anon and uploaded to Nyaa only with no other mirror.

What you've seen in the trailer... you mean that video on Youtube that's like five minutes of Tauburn fighting the three brother Cybodies and the two psycho lesbians?

Because that's it. That, a credits scene showing Takuto and Sugata getting together with all the Maidens, leading into the first scene. There's also technically some minor reanimation that changes minor things about a few scenes, but the most important bit that adds - which isn't even that important overall - is that we know what Nunna looks like. Oh, and the credits also include Fish Girl's real name, for what that matters.


First attempt at uploading it failed for some reason annoyingly late in the upload, it's at 40% and fluctuating a little above a half an hour if it works this time.

Are the subs really that bad, or are the romanizations just shit? I can never get an answer on this.

Extremely inconsistent romanizations and it frequently lapses into incoherence, especially in the latter half. It's roughly on the level of HK subs. Supposedly ADV didn't really want to bring it over in the first place, and only did it as a favor to Macek (who was a huge Dunbine fan), so they did a really slapdash translation.

I'd try and scrub the subs, but honestly, the script needs to be redone from scratch.

Someones working on subbing Might Gaine but the crabsticks are still available. Subdivers still needs volunteer subcheckers for Go-Saurer before they post files. Not sure what's up with the Raijin-oh OVAs but they're on their channel.

Crunchyroll has the rest up until the end of the Sanctuary Saga. The anime had a 30ish episode filler arc after that, and then adapted the Poseidon Saga, retooling it to be a finale.
In light of the rest of Sanctuary having subs that are way better than the ones I've been scrubbing, I decided to skip ahead and scrub Poseidon and the Asgard filler, as they do not have good releases in English yet.

That's the release I have. But they also used the S1 broadcast opening "Big O!" for the second season, which should have its own opening: "Respect".

G_P has "Big O!" for S1 and "Big-O! Show Must Go On" for S2, which was also used for both seasons in TV rebroadcasts. Neither of them include "Respect".

Guess I'll have to check for releases older than the BDs and International Edition R2J DVDs.

Hey, not sure if you're still around, but a week later and I've finally watched the movie. And it was.... pretty okay. I liked all the new animation, and they knew what to keep in, but at the same time there were a lot of major things left out such as the twist involving Reiji/Tokio's identity being fairly untouched until the end. I also don't know why the beach scene with Takuto, Sugata, and Wako was added other than to look pretty, but it does look very visually appealing.

I guess it's understandable since Bones compressed a 22 episode series into one movie, but if I were doing these I'd at least try to stretch it to two, or do what the Madoka movies did and put all the new stuff in a third movie. But yeah, it wasn't a pretty good compilation movie.

Still, the new scenes were awesome. Thanks a ton for uploading this!

When people talk about the cartel I'm pretty sure they just mean Horriblesubs and Daiz. See, Horriblesubs pretty much had the monopoly on anime torrents for a long time.
