Black RX keeps a better overall pacing through the series (like having a big arc already in the 10s), and has more varied episodic stories, but the main plot itself isn't that good and there's a big plot point that changes between the first and 2nd half of the series in order to set up the ending, and the show just hopes you forget it.

The action is more varied than Black's too, but they reuse the rock quarry locations almost every episode, which gets kind of annoying.

What I wanna know is if this Bugster Kuroto is Kuroto's data backed up int oa Bugster, or if's a completely new Bugster with Dan's mind and appearance. If it's the second one, then that also brings up the possibility that if people killed by the virus can be brought back, then there could be a second Dan running around.

Also it's kind of horrifying to think that the real Dan is dead, but a Bugster is now acting as him with all his memories to such a degree that it's an exact replica.

It's released on Netflix. The doctor aspect is removed and everyone is just teenage gamers fighting an alien species that just wants to use Earth as a battlefield for it's game akin to Zyuohger.

Emu isn't patient Zero, instead he's basically the biggest Gamer in the world and he programs his own Gashats.

Hiiro is your typical Chad who only plays games to impress his girlfriend.

Taiga is now a girl, out to prove she's the best gamer of them all. Niko is her little brother now who wants to beat Emu.

Kiriya is now a Robot who was built to help the Riders by a Mad scientist whose not good at fighting whose body is destroyed but his AI remains to help out.

Dan is now a L33T hacker man who wants to take over the world who destroyed Kiriya to get data on his robot body so he could build copies of himself. Gemn 0 is actually Kiriya's dub counterpart in a reprogrammed copy of Dan's dub counterpart, who'd be Chronos no matter what.

The Bugsters are just super advanced alien teenagers looking for a good time by sending down their "avatars" to play on Earth.

Poppy is actually a Bugster AI meant to moderate the game with amnesia because Dub Dan L33T hacked her Avatar. She regains her memories but decides to stop the game because it's cruel but the Bugster Teans had already revoked her moderator privileges with the help of Dan.

They've done a decent job about keeping up the doctor aspect of Ex-Aid. It's not just Emu clashing with characters that view the use of gashats as games; the way Parad says that Emu won't ever beat him at vidga is just setting him up to make some big speech about being a doctor in an operation instead. It keeps it nicely tied in despite this third of the show being vidga oriented, and Brave being the secondary helps reaffirm the connection even more.

so I decided to start catching up on Ex-Aid after not watching any of it since the premiere, currently torrenting EXCITE's batch for the first 24 episodes, besides that and the other 5 episodes that have come out so far, what else is there for Ex-Aid and who's subbed it(been getting harder and harder to keep track of this sort of thing the last couple of years)

The lone wolf MLG guy. A fan of FPS. All of them. Shooting games in general really. Calls people "scrubs". Got a heart of gold under all that, tho. Weapon is the BB Blaster.

Even in the Buu Saga he was unsure on how to write Gohan, Goten and Trunks in the lead role so he waffled along until finally bringing Goku back into the picture. For me Faiz's most enjoyable portion was the first 15-20 episodes before MISUNDERSTANDING seriously took over and the plot went haywire, if it didn't grab your attention now I don't think you're going to like it. Maybe stick with it until Kusaka shows up, he's like Asakura in a way, Japan loves him. If his shenanigans still don't hook you in, just give it up and watch the movie and move on to Blade. The movie is pretty good and serves as a much better (but alternative) ending to the series compared to the TV Ending.

As for Blade, the start is really slow and is Garren-focused for the first 18 or so episodes until he get over his issue and the show change back to Kamen Rider Blade from Kamen Rider Garren. The show get seriously good once the OP change around 30 and the King Form arc starts

I just noticed that neither Hiiro used DHZ together with Taiga. Guess he wasn't willing to ask Taiga to get the Level 50 DG, but instead just got him to Level 5 to still be able to keep the Gashat.

Enjoyment wise, I don't think it's as fun and batshit retarded as Ex-Aid, but I think it's a more compelling story. It's not as frantically paced as Ex-Aid, and the themes explored are a bit more nuanced. Chihiro's motivation - staying human and needing Iyu to anchor him as a human.

That's not very well thought out, and his backstory makes very little sense. He always liked games as a kid, but then he only became the tensai gamer when he was infected by Dan with the Bugster virus, spawning Pallad - the person who was actually the good gamer as we saw in this episode. But then when Pallad got taken out of him he "suddenly" remembered that time when he was a kid and got saved by a doctor so he wants to become a doctor, and just happens to be a doctor at the same place as the CR that just happens to have a Bugster that just happens to be borne from the mother of the man who gave him the infection in the first place? This is soap opera tier writing, come on man.

I suppose slower shows with talking are not to everyone's tastes, some people just like schlock I guess. Wacky bright colours, shaky-cam, big colourful CG pop-up effects, cacophonous belts with ear-scratching jingles that make you mute the entire thing for a good 30 seconds, breakneck pacing and extremely autistic melodrama.
It's fun, but I won't pretend it's objectively good. If I had to show one to an objective audience not familiar with toku, god knows I'd pick Amazons in a heartbeat over Ex-Aid. Ex-Aid is just too kiddy and alienating for a normal person, it's the equivalent of weeb moeshit anime that only the hardcore basement dwelling otaku get into.

Joker Dopant can be the villain. Though Bandai doesn't like going with a V-Cinema without a toy attached, though. I think only Eternal got away with it, but they've refined the formula over the years.

A Joker enemy Memory, at least by itself, isn't very sellable. Dopant Memories are very basic and boring as they all do the same thing aside from the word call out.
