It's definitely annoyingly complex from a cel-painting perspective. Remember, it's going to show up multiple times in frames that someone is earning about $1.50 for, at a range of angles and scales.

also, a lot of it is needless complexity. three slashes for the S rather than those weird barbed things and three bars for the M rather than an off-center chevron would be a lot easier without being a lot less readable.

Does anyone else dislike SMS's iconography?
It looks like a tool manufacturer logo rather than a PMC, and the letters spelling out the name are a bit too hard to pick up from afar.

The S is still acceptable. It's the M that fucks with people, every time I see it I see a cube in orthographic view unless I concentrate on it.
