Stop blaming Zeta Gundam for Sunrise's current inabaility to write a decent Gundam....ever since Gundam Seed we been faced with a series that start well and then end up with "let's make this shit up as we go along" writing that crystallized in Gundam Seed Destiny...and it only got worse when Gundam 00 came around and split the show into two cours instead of one so Sunrise could "maximize" the consumer exploitation between the first and second cours....the first cour has been markedly better than the second cour....just look at how much better Season One of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans was when compared to Season Two....so yeah trying to copy Zeta Gundam is the least of the Gundam franchise's problems when the second half of every current Gundam series has shit for story continuity and a lack of consistent writing quality.
