Not really an 'action adventure' but 0081 kinda has that vibe if you want in the mission mode.

Story has it at time, but at the end of it you're either in a FAG, culminating in a super FAG, or piloting a Ninja Effreet before going on to pilot a Gelgoog on the Zeon side.
