Will we save our blue?

I have literally no idea what the fuck OP is asking
So did Baldios build a wall? What are getting at, OP?

Not OP, but by the end of Baldios, the earth had not only suffered a global flood,it had also suffered a nuclear holocaust.Worse still, it's implied that the war and resulting catastropheare all part of a time loop.

Can't change fate (or the future).
Baldios is much more interesting than Gundam ever was, a pity that it is so unkown among /m/ fans. I don't think the tv show was ever published in the US as the complete film (not the 90 minute version),
Space Warrior Baldios had a really nice OST.

>Space Warrior Baldios had a really nice OST.
It does indeed.
What I like about Baldios is that the show has shoujo like qualities (with the drama that goes with it). You don't have stupid angsty Gundam-like characters at all. All are grown ups save for Marin who might be what 18 ?
I wish there would be a blu-ray version available of the tv show but especially of the movie.

And oceans became red.
So no blue.

It doesn't help that Blue-Fixer (bit on the nose, as a sub group name, that) actually gave up after doing the first few episodes. The only hope left for it is if Luurah gets interested/watched it in his childhood.

It's not particularly shoujo-like, since drama as genre isn't really tied into shoujo. By that definition Eva is a shoujo, too.
The way drama plays out isn't particularly different from Tomino or even 70s mech like Voltes V.
But Baldios have that sense of "Space Odyssey 2001" horror which only mech series like Ideon were able to recapture.
The real experience of Baldios is watching it play as an above average but pretty basic mech show (for its time) with subtle hints at stuff to come and then understanding what's behind all these familiar tropes.
I can't thank SRW Z enough for introducing me to this series.

I feel as if other series manage to get that feel toolike Getter

And this has anything to do with Trump, how? That Trump is going to doom the planet by letting pollution run amok and instigate another global war?
Are we in a meme thread?
Am I typing in a meme post?We must go deeper.

>It's not particularly shoujo-like
You're wrong, it is definitely shoujo like with its emphasis on the Marin/Aphrodia relationship on the one hand, and on the drama between S-1 and Earth on the other, let alone the Zeo Gattler/Aphrodia rape/relationship.
Baldios doesn't have anything in common with Gundam. Not in its character cast, not in the way the story is carried forward, not in the dynamic of the characters. I know most /m/ want to think of Gundam as the starting point of mecha anime and that somehow everything that came afterwards is a byproduct of that but it's not true. Baldios aired at the same fucking time of Gundam more or less, its an anime that aired in 1980-81. It has a completely different narrative structure from that of Gundam (and some elements reference more the giant robots of the early seventies than Gundam itself). Furthermore the one main point that distinguishes it from 0079 is the emphasis on the shoujo like relationship between the two main antagonists. You don't have that in Gundam unless you think Char wants to bone Amuro or something.
And fundamentally the ending leaves no hope at all for the inhabitants of earth. In Gundam well its basically the same thing over and over again. Nothing ever changes in the Gundam universe even after billion of people are killed.

I didn't want to post about it here, but the Pence time travelling conspiracy comes to mind. Craziest tinfoil shit I've ever seen.

Aphrodia > Sayla Fight me.
Jamie never had a chance (for winning the Marin bowl) against the love/hate Marin Aphrodia relationship.

When I first watched the dub, I was struck by that song because I thought it was pretty good. I always ask myself if that was worth a dub mired with bad censorship.
Do you like the Blue Fixer?
