After this episode, I'd say that he has improved as a character and that's not necessarily because of the reveal at the end.

It's pretty clear that being the luckiest guy in the universe has become an emotional crutch for him, so much so that he can't handle when it proves to be untrue.

We've got the summary for the next episode already. All of them together take Ikagen down after the 10 of them struggle against him. Lucky spent this entire episode getting assraped by Ikagen himself. Xiao's been the only one who has been able to fight Ikagen off so far period. I find Lucky annoying too but you guys are fishing for shit to complain about at this point.

You know at this point I'm glad Lucky isnt a good character, a good one would deserve the retarded criticism he gets even less.

I think it's too many for one character to be the focus. You could get a lot of mileage out of the cast to interacting in different ways (maybe a Spada and Bull episode one week, Stinger and Hammy the next, and so on) but so far it's mostly just everyone interacting with Lucky. And even that might be doable if it wasn't varying shades of "Wow, Lucky changed my life!"

I think if I were doing this show and had to keep the red as a major focus and on most missions, I'd probably make him more in the vein of Takeru from Shinkenger -- the leader, but pretty dour compared to the others. Let them change him rather than the other way around. Can still pull off some cast dynamics that way.

The good thing about Lucky is at least he's having a hard time. Bad shit happens to him and he isn't always on time 100% of the time like King or Takaharu. I also like the fact that when he does stupid shit other members tell him so. Even Xiao had moment where he's like "You can't do that shit Lucky."
