Ghost was okay up until after Takeru gets Toucon boost. Then shit just got boring.

Kiva was wangst, jumbled puzzle story, and forced love triangle between really shitty characters.

Ghost never had any of that

I like Otoya and Nago so Kiva > Ghost.

Also, at least Kiva actually gave their secondaries victory in the end game.

Makoto and Alain jobbed 24/7 so that bland tofu Gary stu can look good..

I actually felt it was the other way around. The first ten episodes of Ghost were also the worst ten in my book. The best twenty episodes are from 11 to 30, when Alain and Makoto got the most focus. I don't hate 31-50, but it wasn't as good as the middle portion. The last act of Ghost was about on par with what I'd expect out of pre-Decade Heisei Rider, but post-Decade we can and should expect more.
