The whole ballistic missile thing is clealy not working out for Best Korea, maybe they should think about delivering their nukes with giant robots instead.

Just noted how similar construction is. Yes, CoD shows well-established model, while FEDOR is just a prototype, but still..
Pic somewhat related...

Aaron please stop shilling your shitty designs on /m/

You're a talentless hack, no one who actually loves robots likes your designs, they only appeal to dumb twelve year olds who sit around playing cawadoody all day, your designs try so fucking hard to be "realistic" at the expense of actually making good looking, memorable robot designs, and they even fail at being realistic because you don't actually know anything about robotics, engineering, or how to armor a machine with moving parts, you simply Photoshop together as many unnecessary, overdesigned details as possible then trace over it instead of actually putting thought into a design.

when they put guns and explosives on drones or whatever machinery that can kill a person just as hard, nobody cared.
But when a bipedal robot shoots at some targets we get responses like these. Good job media, you sure planted that meme in people's minds.

The problem with Russian technology is not necessarily that it is less advanced than its conventional western equivalents, but that Russia usually runs out of funding before it can deliver a finished product. Who knows how many abandoned scientific facilities lay strewn about its territories, and what they contain?

Like that one lab full of brains.
>>
>>15448159
>>15454559
Simmer down bruh.
>>
>>15446911
My brain cannot logically comprehend why a robot would need a gun. They're not at full mobility so if it drops the guns it'd be like watching an old man pick up his wallet.
You could just give it gun arms and it would be at least 30% more efficient.
>>
Will we see more in the future?
>>
>>15456112
I mentioned this last thread, the robot is actually intended for peaceful purposes as a shuttle pilot. I guess they showed it with guns to illustrate how its hands can move and to demonstrate how accurate and precise those movements can be.
>>
>>15456112
Robot is an instrument of piece, anon. You cannot hug people with gun arms.

Less likely than you think, if you have more than half of a brain you should be more afraid of something designed just to kill you and nothing else compared to something designed to mimic your silhouette and can maybe kill you like a human would
>>
>>15463043
>and can maybe kill you
>can maybe kill you
>maybe kill you

>maybe
They're training it to dual-wield pistols. How is that *not* "something designed just to kill you"? Do you think they're developing this robot's shooting skills to dominate amateur talent competitions? Circus sideshow attraction maybe? Action movie star?
>>
>>15463113
Robot designed for space, demonstration of precision with tools.
>>
>>15463143
No, that was a demonstration of precision with dual-wielding pistols. That is not a skill that will be useful for repairing satellites. Unless Russia is about to fight off some alien invaders, we need to be worried about this.
>>
>>15463984
more like russia is concerned with drunken cosmonauts amok.
plus , its russians were talking about , google how many fucking extra uses they have for a kalashnikov, those glocks could be as useful as a swoss army knife
>>
>>15455450
>he problem with Russian technology is not necessarily that it is less advanced than its conventional western equivalents, but that Russia usually runs out of funding before it can deliver a finished product.

The PAK-FA is a case study for this. "oh we're just gonna build the most bestest stealth fighter ever to dominate the F-22 and India is gonna help!"

But now several years later all they have to show is a handful of Su-27s with body kits that don't even have diverterless intakes and are covered with exposed rivets, seams and grilles. The production order has been cut from 187 units to 10. The Indians are allegedly furious because they've been shut out of the program despite paying for half of it and are seeking a exit. And China has actually flown two different stealth fighters that look far more real.
>>
>>15464129
Oh, and not to mention the claims that frequently turn out to be false.

>"Russian air defenses are sooooo great and GPS jamming will be able to keep America from doing anything! please buy now!"
>*Israeli F-35s blow up targets in Damascus and buzz Assad's palace, independent satellite photos show that all but one of the tomahawks hit that airbase despite Russian claims otherwise*
>"...cyka"
