I mentioned this last thread, the robot is actually intended for peaceful purposes as a shuttle pilot. I guess they showed it with guns to illustrate how its hands can move and to demonstrate how accurate and precise those movements can be.

The PAK-FA is a case study for this. "oh we're just gonna build the most bestest stealth fighter ever to dominate the F-22 and India is gonna help!"

But now several years later all they have to show is a handful of Su-27s with body kits that don't even have diverterless intakes and are covered with exposed rivets, seams and grilles. And China has actually flown two different stealth fighters that look far more real.
