For the 1080p OZC version of Heisei VS Showa at certain points the video it seems to pause and replay a couple of seconds. The most noticeable part is at the 47:49 mark. At first I thought it might be a faulty file so I redownloaded it, then I reinstalled my player and reconfigured the settings. I even played things that were more visually intensive but in the end they all were fine and this video still messes up.

I also have no idea how to see the showa ending because I don't get a choice or 20 seconds of black screen but that's probably an unrelated problem.

There's no explanation in-show, it's a supplemental info thing because Blade's cards are designed to work almost like a TCG. Basically every card costs a set amount of AP. Sliding a card through a Rouzer spends that AP, and for every card oyu use, you spend more AP until you can't spend anymore. This is how you get your combination attacks.
