Still marathoning it, it's pretty alright so farI also want to fuck the robot

A good season, but the finale is underwhelming. The rivalry between Yusuke and Kemp never reaches any satisfying conclusion.
Darker than Jetman.

Good sentai from 80's. Inferior than Changeman/Flashman/Maskman, but better than the rest.
Good: Megumi (cuttie), Gash (neat), suits (ok), some eventual "creepy" moments (head rips, monsters, brain transfusion).
Bad: overall design is a downstep (mech, colon, headquarters), ending was such a waste.
In general, I like it, but has some flaws.

It's the oldest Sentai I've seen to date.
It had good ideas, but granted I wasn't aware how strictly formulaic old sentai was until I watched it. It got boring pretty quickly.
It also had a lot of things I feel wouldn't be allowed to get into current sentai, such as the "experiment" aspect, male pregnancy and the murder spree in the beginning.
The best 80s Sentai.
Casual observer here
Why are modern seasons all about skintight suits with a lot of white and minimalist details? Pretty boring to me. I prefer more armored suits.

Lazy way to do things. Take a look at last year robot from zyuohger.... Chinese toy-level.
It's in my sentai watching queue. Live Robo is the best 80's sentai robo I think. That and Flashking.

Liveman is basically the point where the head writer (which is the same guy from Goggle V to Fiveman) started losing steam.
