Will there ever be a better live-action /m/ovie?

The robot bits were wonderful, but I didn't care much for the rest of the movie.

Same with Mechanical Violator Hakaider.

It was decent. The ending was stupid, the relationship between characters is middling and John Goodman elevated it.
