SHIELD wanted AIM/Avengers to be accountable to the US government as they are operating in their borders, they used a soldier "Todd Ziller" and got him Gamma enhancements, Mutant Growth Hormone, Pym Particles and the Connor's Lizard Formula.

He later returns as a villain in a later story where he got addicted to the transformation and was given a new dose by Dr. Victor VanDoom and became something more like Zilla. he gets beat by Red Hulk and Deadpool.

Recently most Godzilla threads I've seen on various boards have been eaten up by random fags throwing around generalizing accusations, West vs East, Showa vs Heisei vs Millennium vs Legendary vs Shin, old vs new, Toho vs other companies. Some of the seething autistic meltdowns certain posters have made are neigh indiscernible from ironic pasta. Is this fanbase at war with itself?

If you'e never noticed Japan has super shit taste in films and is much like the rest of Asia in that they'll gobble down any CGI shitfest, live action GitS has a higher rating than the original GitS film over there, it makes me physically angry how Japan gets about films

And just remember, Japan actually hates Kurosawa, and saw him as a picky tryhard, they used to call him "Little Emperor".
Other japanese directors that take influence from him, such as Miike, get similar treatment.

Like just recently, Shin Godzilla got some German promos, and since I speak a bit of German, I went to the comments to see what they're saying about the movie. Shouldn't have. Movies like Shin and ignorant general western audiences just don't gel.

There's nothing wrong with seriousness but it isn't inherently good either. People act like the other movies weren't serious. The Showa and Millennium films were lighthearted but the film makers (mostly in the Golden Age) treated them seriously just like anything else they worked on.
