Big spoilers for Blade's backstory and ending.

Undeads were created by God to represent each race and fight for supremacy. The winner would be the race that gets to become the main species controlling Earth. The human Undead won, so humanity became the dominating species. However, there's an Undead called Joker that doesn't represent any species, if they're the only Undead remaining in the end, the word would be destroyed.

At the end of Blade, they had sealed all Undeads, aside from Joker, who had become their ally, but even against his will the world started being destroyed(although here it was due to an endless army of monsters popping up everywhere), so Kenzaki overused his Rider system (which was powered up by Undead cards) alongside his high compatibility rate turned him into a 2nd Joker, making it so the battle was unfinished due to a 2nd Undead being around. And so the world wasn't destroyed, although they can't be close to each other otherwise they'd instinctively be driven to fight.

So, basically, it was the actual God destroying Dan's Game world.

But thematically, goriders are a combination of riders and sentai, rider sentai. It makes sense thenatically in csht as it is a sentai and rider crossover and the actual team has two sentai heroes.
This movie is just a kamen rider crossover with zero sentai presence so referencing goranger doesnt fit here....yet it is called gorider.
It would be better if the team, for example, was a mix of dead sentai and rider heroes like chst.

In addition to being Rider + Sentai, GoRiders also is an homage to the original concept that led to GoRanger. It'd be originally "GoRider" (not these suits, but as the idea of a 5 Rider show) due to X's movie being well received.

Having seen both this and CSHT, the Goriders are just a wasted opportunity. A gimmick that comes out of nowhere and then just disappears. It's the same in CSHT. It's not much better in principle than random stuff like the OOOs Gokai Change or the various combined Sentai/Rider mecha (Go-busters+Fourze, TOQ+Den-Oh, etc).

I don't have complaints really about what the mini-series was actually about. As Kaito summed up at the end, it was an interesting look at what it 'means' to be a Rider, even after death. I guess some shows and specials (inc. Sentai vs. movies) have touched on similar themes, but Go-Rider handled it pretty well.

Anyways, for anyone interested in filming locations, the theme park featured in the series was 'Sea Paradise' in Yokohama, close to Tokyo.

Stopping the invasion certainly was the point, but it still felt like it came out of nowhere and then just disappeared. It's not like they were specifically seeking a combined power or anything. Just any way to stop Xevious et al. I think it would've been a better fit in the original SHT or some other crossover where Showa heroes actually interacted. It felt out of place and its role in the film could easily have been replaced by generic laser beams without affecting the narrative.

I was really hoping they'd come back to defeat that Shocker boss at the end, but nope, the NPCs just disappear and the heroes firmly lost the ground battle.

I dunno, I think I was just hoping for something a little more grand since I love the idea of it. Just hope TOEI does something better with it in the future.

For all of Ninnin's faults, I don't think it was actually particularly redwank? It was in the sense that there were three reds in one episode, but that's not really wanking Takaharu himself. I felt like they hit a decent balance with Takaharu where he was clearly the most skilled ninja in terms of combat skills, but he was also enough of an idiot that the others didn't really look to him as leadership material, more as a big gun they pointed in the direction of whatever needed doing well but aggressively. If anything it was closer to pinkwank given one of the most common complaints about the show was how Kasumi had almost as few faults as Daigo.

There's plenty to complain about in Ninnin - the youkai don't have any of the chemistry of the Shadow Line or Deboss, Kyuuemon isn't a good enough solo act to match Bladerun or Enter, the last battle is kind of lame, Fuuka has no consistent characterization whatsoever - but I think it was less of a redwank show than even ToQ.
