So while I think we all agree the movie was terrible, here's a question: could a good Devilman movie be made, and if so, how? Would you want a multi-part franchise to tell the whole story, or a single, stand-alone film that didn't have the same scope, but focused instead on a single arc?

There was a scene from the trailers before the movie came out where they had CG Devilman start to charge up, and it flickers into an actual sketch-type look, like stylized from the manga, that was really cool. I don't think that ever made it into the final film for whatever reason. Just another disappointment, I suppose.
