I tried to count every time they used the fence flashback during my rewatch two or three years ago and I gave up. It was in just about every fucking episode.

I've started doing a rewatch of SEED when IBO ended, doing an episode a night. For the record, dubbed version since I like think it does a better job for Kira.

Then for a kick, I decided to check out that Death Note drama from 2015. It is really, really hard not to start doing mashups of the two whenever they discuss Kira in Death Note. Especially since the SEED rewatch has reminded me that Kira always was somewhat self-righteous, just he didn't have the power to get his way early on.
