NEO lets you bring everyone, though there's a limit to how many you can field at a time.

They really diverge from the plot of the OVA so the focus stays on Ryoma. To the point the that second Getter team (Go,Kei,Gai) don't get to pilot Shin Getter at all, and Invader infected Saotome only shows up for like five minutes with a fully complete Shin Dragon to fight us a little, tell Embryo to go to hell, then hands it off to Go and friends who only now decide to finally appear.

I'm thinking the world powers will unite to wipe them out using nuclear weapons by the time 30% of the world's population is dead, give or take 3 to 5 percent plus or minus.

But I got it covered after that and will commence my attack with mobile fortress Nyarlathotep. I'm hoping most of the world powers will give up at this point, but I'm guessing that an alliance might form between Canada and the Carribean islands which might by the nations of the world all of 35 seconds.

So, yeah, things are going pretty good for me right now.

The talk about difficulty in SRW always really confuses me, because SRW has in-built difficulty sliders, in the both no-upgrade runs and in Skill Points. The games let you choose how to set your own difficulty, so I'm not sure what these people want in terms of 'it is hard to complete the map'. I suspect they don't want 'difficulty' at all, but 'things that make them feel smart for using them'. The references to things like terrain sound more like they want more and trickier systems to use, so they can 'pull off strategies' and beat the enemies without comparing numbers at all. But all in all, their arguments are kinda nebulous (Noone wants random grunts casting random seishin, seriously, don't infest this general with more bullshit).

For future reference, you just ask for a number of series to roll out of a large list I stick into a randomizer. Generally people go with 10 or 15. "Familiar" limits the options to those that have been in SRW before, as you've done, and "anchors" are series you want to "lock" into a series list, like if you're wanting to see if the RNG will give you series that will compliment something you've already set as the baseline for a world concept.

Also, I don't think people are appreciating how hamstrung the games are by the plots and mechanics of the series its emulating. They can't introduce an indepth terrain system because the series themselves don't use terrain so much. And if they have sandboxy playground levels of interesting terrain and enemy types, that makes the scripting for the mandatory plot events so much harder to pull off.

So what actually would improve the series, by freeing the hands of the developers, would be more Z-level good writing, to allow them to alter and meld plot points better and remove restrictive scripting in favor of more mechanically deep battles.

Infinite Ryvius just debuted there, it and Sakura Wars were the latest two new series (also Nadesico PoD but I doubt anyone's actually feeling despair over that).

And I'd have to check what the game considers the Sakura Wars representative. It probably has a specific title, much like how Godzilla was considered "Godzilla vs Evangelion" and suchlike.

What did they mean by this?

One thing that had always bothered me about the SRWZ series is that despite all of the interactions the original characters had with all the others, even going out of their way to give them strong relationships with certain characters, that you don't get any crossover dialogue with them in battle.

I know that you're allowed to change the name of the protagonists, but there are still ways to get around that with specific dialogue towards them.

Then there's better uses for those slots anyway. The Will+ skills only help you gain morale faster, which means they help early in a stage but stop doing anything for you by the end of the stage if you're hitting the morale cap, which in endgame you usually are. The only morale skill really worth it is Resolve, which gives you a flat +10 at the start of the stage and thus lets you start using better moves right away.

Your priorities should, roughly, be Hit and Away for characters who need it, Will Limit Break, Potential for characters who need it, Resolve, and later on Continuous Action. On later runs, once you have enough PP to start investing in stats, Attack Again might replace Resolve.

I'd advise against prioritizing WLB when Z2.1's enemy density is trash for a very long time and you probably wouldn't actually see any real returns from it until the very last few stages in the game. You'd honestly get more returns dumping Resolve/Hit and Away (depending on the unit), Dash, E/B Save (once again depending on the unit) and then stuff like WLB/Attack Again.

Continuous Action is great too but its main use is for when you have tons of PP from NG+ and can afford to sink the cost for it.

Something like what Card Chronicle did, then, but extended? That had three different Mazinger entries and two Getters. Too bad thanks to lacking voices and any fucks given towards making a plot, we'll never have them actually try to double-down and give us multiple versions of the same character.

Even if they wanted to make multiple Mazinger and Getters in one game, if they didn't want to double-up on same-named characters, what does that give us? With Mazinger you have Toei/Shin/OVA Kouji and then the SKL guys as your options, plus possibly the God Mazinger guy if you want to be really out there, but just about every Getter has a Ryoma and co., so best you get is one of them and then the Daikessen ninja girls. Unless one of the unused mangas has a completely different team I'm not aware of. Arc or Dino Getter, maybe?

I think if they put IBO in this, they can pull a SMT style route for the cast. Law meaning Orga basically being Rustal's groomed dog and rejecting the alliance with McGillis finding allies in Zeon and the "revolutionaries", Chaos being McGillis except he is smarter and is able to put Bael to the limits and the Neutral Route that says fuck them both and carve their own path to the place they belong. Using a long game against Rustal while ZERG RUSH McGillis when he thinks he has the advantage once Rustal buys it when he tries playing checkers on a board where the enemy prefers to flip the table.

The final battle would still be defending the Tekkadan base but for different reasons in Chaos and Neutral. Chaos Ending has Orga as the undisputed kings of Mars, bowing to no one but themselves and any dispute is settled with their gundams laying down the law with a free but bloodlusted society. Barbatos becomes the feared Wolf King that everyone obeys

Neutral Ending is the "Happy End". Both sides find compromise as McGillis is reunited with Almiria and works as an enforcer of the reforms that Rustal implemented with Gaelio finally forgiving McGillis. Orga becomes the secretary of defense with Kudelia by his side. Mika self destructs the Barbatos as a gesture that he now has Akatsuki and settles down for good. As Barbatos counts down it's final seconds, it whimpers as it explodes.

But as we get older, so do all of the voice actors. Most of my favorite voice actors are in their 40s. Whenever I picture Kappei Yamaguchi, I think of a young guy. He was doing Ranma 1/2 a year after I was born.

I'm still upset about Chikao Otsuka dying, but he was 85. He was old enough to be around when Japan got nuked twice. It's shit, but people get old, and then they die.

Pink Haros exist. He's like my second highest kill pilot and I ran a no upgrade with Souji default birthday GranVang.

Just literally give him a S-Adapter and a Pink Haro (+10 starting will, +10 max will and something about SP though I didn't really care). He has 160 will so all you need is just 10 more will and Pink Haros solves that already.

Unless you somehow gave both Pink Haros to Shinji for his Pseudo Evol. And even then I'd just go get his EVA-13 instead for 2 pilots on no upgrade run.

Currently doing a Chitose 11/11 B VangNex and 11/11 B is just utter shit since there's no accel and thus she can't be at the front line as much.
