Really, if the ESF was half as evil as Zeon claims it was, they would have retaliated against the spacenoids so goddamn hard that Zeon never would have rose again.

If anything, the crippling feature of the ESF is that they are too fucking soft. Zeon had already done that 25 years before hand. Banana and Audrey, along with the Sleeves conflict weren't even a thing most people knew about to view the Federation in any light specifically because of. Recently watching Unicorn and the Origin OVAs has got me wondering how exactly the Federation got formed. I've always wondered how exactly they managed to unite all the disparate nations and dissolved their borders and somehow not have trouble with nationalistic movements. I mean the capital of the world government is in fucking Tibet.

But then, Unicorn showed that within fucking one minute of the new Universal Century starting, the Prime Minister of the Federation got blown the fuck up along with his colony, say what you want about the rest of Unicorn but that was a cool look at the history of UC Gundam before the OYW. The whole UC was doomed to fail before it even started.

So getting back on topic, and saying this as a Feddie, they were doomed to do everything wrong from the start. (Zeon is still worse)
