dairanger was one of the most frequently mentioned ones, but i generally forgot the rest.

Gonna have to wait around for others. Only on episode 8 and it's standard fare so far. The unique weapons of each character is nice, though. Onto >>15400330 I'll add ToQger. Good team up combos, and some of the characterization of the members plays into their styles at times, like ToQ#5's. I'd also reccomend Power Rangers RPM. Fantastic out of suit and suited up fight scenes.

If you are watching for raw choreography and not looking to invest in the entire season for any given show, ToQger's first episode, their post-credits appearance in the Go-Busters/Kyoryuger movie, and the first transformation fight scene in the Returns movie (full name in filename) are good to sample. Though ToQ is very good anyways - despite the childish premise.

Now I that go through my folder, the Hurricanegers had some cool moves. Really liked the ninjustu they used, like the air walk, yello's ground sliding and tunneling, and the water walk. Gotta love Shurikenger's baseball motif, too. Even if it did just wound up as a fast spinning CG attack most of the time.

Anyone else catch his "face change" is like a player turning his baseball cap around? Or was that common knowledge?

The difference is that groups like OT encodes in 4000 bitrate, while TV-Nihon encodes in 3000 bitrate, and there's hardly any difference except for a few pixels and a more bloated file size. People make lots of noise, but there is hardly any reason to go beyond 3000.

It's a comparison between Power Rangers footage and Shinkenger but the person who uploaded the video uses TV-Nihon subs. It might be filters used in post production for power rangers but shinken red looks a bit more orange in the sentai footage than usual.

People have posted comparisons before, of Ex-Aid for example, but there is literally no difference except for the few pixels which are the result of bitrate.

Just because you are a good encoder doesn't mean everyone else is bad and doesn't know how to encode with optimal settings.

Funny you mention that because I've only now tried getting into Ultraman. Started watching Ginga since it only had 11 episodes. For some reason I didn't put together that the show is still airing. I really dig the monster designs in Ginga and watching them fight around in the suits is pretty fun. Actual plot is kinda drab though. I plan on going back and watching more classic Ultraman once I'm caught up on Ginga

5 episodes of Gaoranger to go. I think Wild Force did better with the villains (Master Org was good), but the Gaos are certainly a better cast. WF was pretty weak except for Red. Good to see Yaibaba and TsueTsue were still great in the original footage.
