The last /m/ anime you watched gets invaded by Festum in full force. How do they fare?

Not well

Why do people keep tryign to put Festum and ELS in other works? They are fuckers who are truly alien and just by existing they are fucking with reality one way or another, you don't fight something that can create more of itself just by mindraping someone and uses the thoughts of people as a way to home on them

>Are you there?
>I'm not there. I'm Saviour

>No this savior

Well, the ELS are actually open to dialogue and once we could talk to them, they immediately called a truce by turning their main body into a giant flower.
Festum just want to convert everything into whatever "original state" they came from, and only became open to dialogue after assimilating the right people. Unlike the ELS, who fought out of miscommunication, the Festum will aggressively seek to assimilate everything around it, including other Festum.
Comparing the two, the Festum beat the ELS since the ELS still operate on a level of understanding that we can get: they are living metal objects that can assimilate other metal objects or integrate themselves into organic objects. They are also many, but finite and can be destroyed by conventional weapons.
The Festum are limitless and come from another dimension, can only be harmed by a specific type of weapon series, and can assimilate any kind of matter and even the conscious of living beings.
If the Festum assimilated the ELS, then we'd be boned beyond belief.
>Ideon
Oh boy.
>IBO
shit
>>15399551
That would be the worst possible outcome for everyone involved, even for the festum
>>15399562
A single zetradi warship would be able to lay waste to the solar system in IBO
>>15396818
>Dai-Guard
extremely well.
>>15399521
>Festum assimilate the ELS
>>15399551
>Or they assimilate Ideon
Well then just bend me over the table and fuck my ass with a shotgun. Just end it.
>>15399593
I mean, if they used the Ideon Gun it would just kill everyone and make everyone reincarnate. Or it might create a super-black hole due to Festum shenanigans. Actually, either option is terrible.

>Gurren Lagann
I mean, you guys remember the LAST time Team Dai-Gurren fought an assimilated hive-mind race, right? I haven't seen Fafner yet, though, so I could be wrong.

...You know, they probably actually do alright. Eldoranverse has killed some pretty ridiculous things - the Festum are a new shade of horrid, but they've already beaten incomprehensible interdimensional alien life forms (And probably could phone Belzeb for help if need be), fucking Satan himself (and Yaminorius is still running around within contact), and horrifying extrasolar assimilating non-organic aliens. And Eldoran himself is active after Gosaurer again (after he took a hiatus during Ganbaruger to fight the devil and recover) so even if it's pre-Daiteioh there's a chance they could pull out something new.
Plus Festum are really, really dumb early on. And if this is a full setting crossoverEldoran would basically have to be aware of the one Mir that was there for most of humanity's lifespan. So yeah, they could stand a chance.

They all died and their leader became a hobo
Would they listen to his song?
>>15400625
Yes.
Basara's song is a square peg on a board in which all situations where UNDERSTANDING could potentially work are square holes.
>Gravion
probably OK
>>15400067
Simon more or less punched out the product of the instrumentality project
>Baldios
Doesn't affect anything, I guess.
