Zeheart was just a meme villain. Just another incompetent leader who through his own lack of mastery over the battlefield ends up sacrificing his own troops and losing a lot of them to the point where he is forced to sortie in his personal suit in a futile, last ditch attempt to turn the tide, only to die needlessly in a 1v1 with the protagonist.
With a few exceptions ( I think maybe Durandal and Elion?), Gundam villains behave this way, which is retarded.

No, at that point Vagan forces were still strong, their ultimate weapon still intact and they still has another weapon (Vagan Gear) ready to unleash. Zeheart frustration came from the fact that he failed to destroy the three gundams, after sacrificing so much. It's not matter of turning the tide, his beef with the gundams is his personal issue.
