The G-Reco guys seemed to highly recommend it, which is kinda why I wasn't motivated to watch it.
IBO's ending was pretty satisfying, actually.Mika got the only happy ending he was really capable of "We were already at THAT PLACE", Akihiro got to squish Iok and died happy, Kudelia got independence for all of Mars, Ride got revenge for Orga, the farm is doing well, Gaelio is back to his old self, and the practice of buying and selling orphans to use as slave soldiers is abolished.

People are just mad that Rustal turned out to not be the tyrant they assumed he was.

IBO actually took the AZ ending and made it worse. Characters are defamed and propaganda is spread after their ACTUAL deaths and the antagonist who committed war crimes and was an overall dick who never cared about reforming the system suddenly decided to reform the system in the last episode. Tekkadan as a whole was pointless other than a means to an end for rustal. The protag fought for no reason and the cheesy reveal is that "that place" was with his family all along.

There was a heavy influx of poor shitpost and bait threads after the series ended which made the fans get too much defensive. Some people without patience to argue with shitposters started simply replying with the phrase and some people who had real complaints also catch the heat. There was also people who never watched the series but started replying it to people to piss them off.
