Even then it kind of both ways. Kira stalls the Orb fleet for the moment and Talia immediately goes "Nope Orb must die" and aims the Minerva's main cannon at it, which just tells Kira's there's no possible alliance here because Zeuth isn't interested in not killing the Orb forces.

In Seed proper at least Kira attacks first, though he's still basically supported by the fact that everyone's fighting because they hate the other side, which is just going to end in genocide again.

Kira saw Seed's endgame upclose and personal. He's got a good reason for not liking uncontrolled violence.

That was just a somewhat significant...

But in the context of SRW adaptation the real problem with IBO is it pretty much flies in the face of SRW.

The big scheming antagonist who commits several war crimes along the way actually ends up becoming the greatest hero in human history. Stamping out multiple violent uprisings and consolidating his power but instead of resting on his laurels. Brings in sweeping political and trade reforms, stamping out slave labour and bringing former untouchable bourgeois elite into accountability eventually rising to become the first President of Earth.

Whilst the heroic kids with their super special robots just trying to survive are solidified in the public eye as violent extremists who helped a madman who is now taught about in classrooms as the IBO equivalent of Hitler with a Gundam.

Really for the average SRW group they'd be caught between a moral dilemma, go with their hearts and help Tekkadan and doom the human race to more war and strife.

Or go with their heads and help the antagonist who has been throwing around the IBO equivalent of nukes like candy who actually is re-establishing order quite effectively and has a actual future plan for a united human race.

Timestamp is a common way to do it, pretty sure Fire Emblem on GBA changed the value every time you gave the game input (so if you moved the marker a square to the left, then back to the right that would manipulate the RNG so it just seeds with some memory value)

Remember that this was before you could skip animations though. In 3 you even had to suffer through an animation sequence every time you transformed or combined a robot. You wouldn't know your hit chance or the enemy's counterattack+hit chance before you chose to attack, the only attacks that let you attack after moving had range 1, you didn't get to choose dodge/defense/counter-attack when attacked; YOU DIDN'T EVEN GET TO CHOOSE WHAT ATTACK TO COUNTER-ATTACK WITH! Enjoy having your robot waste all its energy counter-attacking grunts with Breast Fire and whatnot. If a robot was ever replaced/upgraded your investments don't carry over. You can't upgrade weapons, so what you have in firepower is what you have in firepower. You have to be kind of dedicated to suffer through this.

4 improved on it in a lot of ways. You get to choose how to respond to attacks, see hit % before committing to attacks. These steps alone fix the worst parts of 3. Plus it's the first one where you get to create your own pilot, and you can choose real/super, getting Hückebein or Grungust! But it's still slow, unskippable animations, and other pains. Alpha was better and slicker by leaps and bounds. I suggest trying it out on an emulator for a stage or two before deciding.

I made it too stage 50 in SRW V and I got presented with the choice to go normal or true end. I got most of the SR points, but I feel as if I shouldn't do True route on my first run. It's not nearly as terrible as /srwg/ bitches about it being. It's just not able to live up to what it promises, especially in the second half of Tengoku. Jigoku is a solid enough entry aside from the broken as fuck Tension Raiser and Miracle Fragment, both of which were so busted they got taken out in Tengoku. The first half of Tengoku I personally feel is actually quite good, the part where you're fighting against Sidereal. Once you get to their bosses, though, the story tries to talk the last bosses up as being the biggest baddest things in the history of anything ever, but only one of them actually manages anything close to delivering. It's not helped that most of the late enemy originals are pretty lame design and animation-wise, especially compared to the ones in Z2 that did such a better job of conveying the otherworldly aesthetic the Tengoku ones were trying for and failing at.

Still, I enjoyed the whole Z series enough that I don't regret my purchases. It's fun to see just how ridiculous the numbers can get with all the insane bonuses the game offers you, and while the original enemies end up pretty shit, Genion is one of my favorite original units ever.

I honestly don't understand why Z3 treats Z1 so badly.
First, the Z1 world get destroyed after they spend that entire game trying to stabilize it.
Then, the Jigoku world consists basically entirely of the Z2 world with SEED and UC Gundam stuff added onto it, with Big O taking place in a weird pocket dimension, Orguss's setting being whisked away somewhere and the rest of ZEUTH being AWOL, so it's really just a Z2 sequel with the UC plot added on top.
Lastly, in Tengoku, they have an entire planet for the missing ZEUTH to hang out on, but instead it's used solely for Diebuster and Gargantia, with the returning Z1 shows that do appear getting minimal focus, while the Meganoids which they had been hyping up since Z1 got destroyed off-screen, and after the game's over all the worlds split back apart again.

Feels like they should've just started a new series with Z2 at that point.

Kusuha was always meant to be Bullet's cumdumpster. I don't really get why they bothered at all with a Ryuusei miniplot for her when it added absolutely nothing and only made her look bad compared with her alphaverse self and said miniplot was harmful for both characters.
