So, I finally got around to watching all of the original Kamen Rider. Great show. I know that there is a Kamen Rider 1 movie that came out not too long ago. Do I need to have seen Ghost to fully enjoy the movie?

Kamen Rider Taisen is the closest they've gotten to at least giving actual fighting scenes to All Riders in the movie, and also making various heroes appear throughout, rather than only in the final battle as part of group shots, but even then some obviously had much less screentime than others and only some are really involved with the plot. It also had a large cast of returning actors too, although many Riders were still left suit-only.

For example if you're watching SHT, for the Rider side, Decade (+Diend), OOO and Fourze are featured as characters, but Fourze only in the beginning and then final battle. Rider 1 gets a couple of lines and Den-O gets one scene before the final battle, but that's mostly it. A few more Riders (Black, Blade, Ryuki, Hibiki, Kiva) get one highlight scene in the final battle, but outside of that every single other Rider basically is only there to make group shots larger.

Similar thing with SHTZ, only with even less Riders. Wizard's cast is there throughout the movie, and Fouze arrives for the final battle and gets one solo fight, but outside of that every single Rider that appears in the movie is only there for group shots in the final battle.

SHTGP is kind of mixed. The main cast includes Drive, Faiz, Garren (and the other 3 Blade Riders to a lesser extent) and Black/RX, but many other Riders still get highlight moments, like Decade and Wizard, while many others don't and are only there for group shots, like ZO, Shin, Kuuga, Agito, Ryuki and Fourze.

So Ex-Aid has been doing pretty well for closing gaps so far, but why does Taiga still want everyone else's Gashats. It's more that I honestly couldn't think of that as the reason because despite the slight heel turn both him and Hiiro had in Episode 24 about being on Emu's "team," the latter still had a decent amount of character progression from how he was in his initial reveal about 6 months ago. Taiga being guilty about Zero Day has been something that we've known for months now, so it just becomes a question of why is he still in his rut and hasn't progressed as a character, even if he isn't the secondary rider like Brave.

Taiga's intentions are spelled out for morons like you and Hiiro right as he gets Bang Bang Simulations. If he really wanted all the Gashats for himself afterwards, he would not have traded over the Gashat Dual Gear Beta to Hiiro, because he thought he could have defeated Genm X on his own anyways once the Level 99 Gashat finished. Even after Maximum Mighty X made its debut, he still felt like he should be the only one to shoulder the responsibility of being a Kamen Rider, because Emu was traumatized by not being able to save a patient, something Taiga had been suffering from since Zero Day, and Hiiro's body still cannot handle Level 50. Being Kamen Riders puts Emu's emotional and psychological health at risk and Hiiro's physical health at risk.

He does not want the Gashats just to have them like a Diend clone. He's closer to a very pessimistic Godai with other Kamen Riders running around who are suffering like he had.
