I fairly like Log Horizon, Youjo Senki and Knights and Magic. The first because it's not a power fantasy, the second because its so over the top, and the third gets technical in its mechanics. But most modern Isekai are basically power fantasies and wish fulfillment. Kirito from SAO for example is super cool (in universe), gets all the girls, and is the only person in the entire game who can dual-wield.

There's also Dunbine (which is a classic isekai progressively going into complete chaos), Maze (classic isekai with a wacky Ranma 1/2-esque twist) and Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari (Tenchi show in a fantasy world, so you know what to expect), although Kenshi doesn't die at the start unlike most modern isekai.

Too busy with comedy to even do harem stuff (doesn't help that the MC actively refuses to take any shit from the girls)
